Charity tournament to support the Petr Korbel Table Tennis Academy
The academy has been operating since 2016 and has 25 children aged 8 to 15 years old training under the supervision of three coaches. The children train 4 times a week and participate in both regional and national tournaments and championships.
Proceeds from the LMF tournament will be donated to purchase sports equipment for the young players.
Patrons of the tournament are Cylinders Holding and innogy. The event will be held with the extraordinary support of CEZ Group.

Petr Korbel
Petr is the most important ambassador of table tennis in the Czech Republic after Milan Orlowski and Jindřich Panský. The five-time Olympic Games participant has been a member of the Czech Table Tennis Hall of Fame since 2013 and is one of the personalities who have contributed significantly to the success and development of Czech table tennis.His greatest achievements include fourth place at the Olympic Games, third place at the World Championships and the European Championships. Petr is currently not only a coach and sports manager of the Ostrava extra league club TTC Ostrava, but also an active player at his age.
Jakub Kleprlík
Jakub currently plays in the Czech top league for TTC Ostrava. The former Czech national player and participant of two world championships and a number of ITTF WORLD-TOUR tournaments has also competed in France, Sweden and Germany.
