Štěpán Chalupa

A graduate of the Secondary Industrial School in Prague, Prosek, he is currently a student of the Environmental Faculty at the Czech University of Life Sciences in Prague. He has worked in the sector for utilisation of renewable resources for over 20 years. He has been vice-chairman of the Czech Society for Wind Power since 2012 and chairman of the Chamber for Renewable Sources of Energy since 2013. He represents the RSE sector towards the government administration, in the media and during specialised debates. He is a member of ministerial work groups and executive committees in relation to legislation and subsidy programmes. He is a member of the Government Council for Sustainable Development and a member of the Coal Commission. He was also a member of the board of the European Renewable Energies Federation between 2016 and 2020.
