He studied electrical engineering and, as a postgraduate, also electrical machines, devices and drives at the Technical University of Ostrava, but also sociology at Masaryk University in Brno. Since 2005, he has been employed at the consulting firm EGÚ Brno. He was gradually focusing on the outlook for energy demand, electromobility, and issues of power and production sufficiency of the electricity system. In recent years, his main interest lies in the market of energy commodities, the provision of power balance and flexibility services in general, and the search for solutions for the development of industrial energy. Within the company, he mainly focuses on the development strategy.
