Kamil Čermák

Kamil Čermák began his career in the 1990s as an editor and presenter at Czech Television. He also served as spokesperson and advisor to the then Minister of Industry and Trade, Vladimír Dlouhý. He later joined Český Telecom as part of the international consortium Tel-Source, where he worked as Commercial Director for the B2B segment. He also held the position of Commercial Director at Czech Airlines (ČSA). He first joined ČEZ in 2005, where he was responsible for launching ČEZ’s business activities in Poland. He then returned to the media sector to lead the publishing house Economia for four years. Since 2016, he has been Chairman of the Board and CEO of ČEZ ESCO, a company providing comprehensive energy services to businesses, cities, and municipalities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. In 2018, he received the Smart City Personality of the Year award. He is Chairman of the Board of the Modern Energy Union and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Alliance for a Decarbonised Future. He also lectures externally on corporate governance and leadership. Additionally, he is a member of the Memory of Nations Collegium of the Post Bellum organization.
