Pavel Zámyslický

Pavel Zamyslicky graduated in Economics and Management of Power Engineering (Ing.), and in Business Management and Economics (PhD.) at the Prague Czech Technical University’s Faculty of Electrical Engineering. Between 2004 and 2005 he worked as an economic expert for the Czech Environmental Information Agency (CENIA). From 2005 to 2007, he acted as a governmental expert for emission trading within the Climate Change Department of the Czech Ministry of Environment. In 2007, he became a Director of the Energy and Climate Protection Department at the same ministry. Since 2006 he was actively involved in international climate negotiations under the UNFCCC and the Kyoto Protocol. He is a leading negotiator for the Czech Republic for both international and European agendas associated with the climate policy.
